Trump Declares Victory & Announce Biden Conspiracy During Saturday Meltdown

On Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court rejected a court challenge in which Texas — and allies, including President Donald Trump’s own legal team — sought the invalidation of the presidential election outcome in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Georgia. Trump… isn’t taking the rejection well, to say the least. On Twitter after the court’s decision, President Victim Complex complained that the court supposedly had “No Wisdom, No Courage!” Most of the justices — including Trump’s own three nominees — concluded that Texas’s side didn’t even have legal standing to bring their case before the court.

Trump’s embarrassing meltdown stretched on and on, across a total of at least 20 tweets and retweets that he posted from just before 00:00 Saturday onward. At one point, he characterized the court’s decision as “a legal disgrace, an embarrassment to the USA!!!” In another post, he claimed that the “people of the United States were cheated, and our Country disgraced.” In a particularly unhinged post from Saturday morning, Trump belted out the following nonsense:

‘I WON THE ELECTION IN A LANDSLIDE, but remember, I only think in terms of legal votes, not all of the fake voters and fraud that miraculously floated in from everywhere! What a disgrace!’

Trump’s comments are simply not accurate — to say the least, and his petulant insistence that he won is pathetic. There is no legitimate evidence that he won the election. He’s acting like a losing football team who’s refusing to leave the field and instead stomping their feet and calling on their supporters to join them in a night-long protest. No “fake voters and fraud… miraculously floated in from everywhere.” Trump’s mish-mash of ignorance and lies does not equal actual legitimate evidence. Conservative and liberal judges alike have outright rejected Trump’s claims about the election in courts across the country. Would Trump suggest that these judges are in on the imaginary plot too? Would Trump suggest that his own Supreme Court nominees are in on the imaginary fraud?

In yet another post, Trump claimed that Republican Governors Doug Ducey and Brian Kemp, who lead Arizona and Georgia, respectively, “allowed states that I won easily to be stolen,” which simply isn’t true — to say the least. Read some of Trump’s posts below — he capped off some of his messaging by screaming: “WE HAVE JUST BEGUN TO FIGHT!!!”

Trump also complained about Attorney General Bill Barr’s apparent knowledge of a Hunter Biden tax probe before the election. Hunter Biden was not running for president — obviously — and his tax issues, on a basic level, have nothing whatsoever innately to do with his father, Joe Biden. Trump claimed that his team “caught them cold, spying, treason & more (the hard part),” which is just far-right fantasy-talk. The Obama administration did not spy on the Trump campaign. Trump sounds like a wannabe dictator concocting ways to jail his political opponents.
