President Victim Complex is continuing to run with the lie that the presidential election was rigged against him. On Monday, President Donald Trump touted the release of a report on voting equipment in Antrim County, Michigan, that had been produced by a Trump-allied firm called Allied Security Operations Group (ASOG). Based in part on a mistake from the Antrim clerk while reporting election results that initially depicted Joe Biden leading in the heavily Republican county, Trump allies have concocted a preposterous conspiracy theory of Dominion election machines, which the county used, rigging the election for Biden. The Department of Homeland Security has confirmed that there’s no evidence that any voting system was actually compromised.
Trump keeps claiming otherwise. Discussing the Michigan report — which Michigan’s Assistant Attorney General Erik Grill has characterized as “inaccurate, incomplete and misleading” — Trump tweeted as follows:

Again, a top Michigan official has characterized this report as simply not reflective of the entire actual reality of the situation. Russell Ramsland from ASOG signed the report — Ramsland has gone so far off base in his other so-called analyses that at one point, he “confused voting districts in Minnesota with ones in Michigan,” the Detroit Free Press explains. This guy is not somehow more credible than the Department of Homeland Security.
When does the nonsense from the president and his allies end? Would Trump suggest that officials at the Department of Homeland Security are in on the imaginary fraud? What about U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr, who has also confirmed that there’s no evidence of election outcome-altering fraud? What about the judges who have rejected the Trump team’s fraud claims around the country? Judge Kevin Elsenheimer, who ordered the release of the Antrim County report, doesn’t even seem to have necessarily endorsed the findings. He simply ordered the report’s release after Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson (D) withdrew her opposition to the move on account of the fact that an attorney for the other side had already openly discussed details of the faulty supposed findings.
