Tuesday President-elect Joe Biden is in Georgia stumping for the two Democratic candidates for senators. There will be dual run-off elections in the state on January 5. Early voting has already begun. But these two elections are about more than Georgia. They are about the entire country, because if these two men win, Democrats will take the Senate, which is tremendously important.

Senate Leader Mitch “Grim Reaper McConnell (R-KY) gave himself that nickname. Why? He has stood at the Senate door and blocked all of the hundreds of bills that came across from the House of Representatives. The House voted in a new $2.2 trillion stimulus bill months ago, an updated Heroes Act to help struggling Americans hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic, according to Albio Sires site. McConnell shot it down.

President-elect Joe Biden won the Electoral College 306 to 232. Then, he immediately stepped into the role of acting president to take on the yawning leadership deficit. Biden demanded “truth over lies.”

Then, the president-elect moved it up to high gear. He told the Atlanta, GA crowd who mostly sat in their cars as if he was a 1960’s drive-in movie feature. He did not disappoint:

‘Stand up take back our democracy! Send me these two men! Change democracy!’

Georgia’s Secretary of State stood up to the fierce oven that melts steel, called Donald Trump, when Republicans quaked in their boots, according to The New York Times. Today, he took down the two sitting Republican Georgia senators who have blatantly increased their wealth while on the job. Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler should know the data that they sought is “already publicly available from the Secretary of State.” Raffensperger called them out, as “embarrassing.” Their campaigns already have this data.

Perdue was captured day trading on the job, and Loeffler is the richest person in the Senate. She dabbled, too.

The secretary of state’s biting tweet follows here:

‘As embarrassing as it is for Sens. Perdue & Loeffler not to know that the data they want is already publicly available from the Secretary of State, it’s even worse that they’re not aware their own campaigns already have the data they’re looking for.’

The secretary continued:

‘Though I have told the Republcian Party to stop focusing on me and instead direct their energies to winning the Senate runoffs, clearly they haven’t listened…Early voting has already started but it’s not too late for them to call their offices and get their campaigns in order.’
