Don Jr. Has Post GA Loss Spazz-Out At Wednesday MAGA Rally

On Wednesday — the day that Congress was scheduled to meet and certify President-elect Joe Biden’s electoral college victory — Trump supporters gathered in D.C., where they heard from imminently inept speakers like Rudy Giuliani and Donald Trump Jr. In his remarks — which he largely yelled, for some reason — Jr. ranted against Republicans who’ve refused to fall in line behind his father’s fundamentally anti-democratic agenda, complaining about certain Republican leaders who he said haven’t done enough to “stop the steal.” There is no “steal” — every single state has long since certified its presidential election outcome, and Trump has not won a single court case that has put him anywhere near overturning the outcome in a single state.

Top Trump allies have failed to even comprehensively map out how the imaginary fraud took place. Who was in charge? Barack Obama? Hillary Clinton? Aliens? Where are the thousands of people whose support would have been needed to carry out a nationwide election-rigging operation? In Georgia, Trump backers have alleged that security camera footage shows improper ballot tabulation in Fulton County, which is false, but to begin with, are observers really supposed to believe that a conspiracy to rig the entire presidential election was foiled by security cameras?

Trump Jr. ranted as follows:

‘It should be a message to all the Republicans who have not been willing to actually fight. The people who did nothing to stop the steal — this gathering should send a message to them: This isn’t their Republican Party anymore. This is Donald Trump’s Republican Party! This is the Republican Party that will put America first!.. These guys better fight for Trump, because if they’re not, guess what? I’m gonna be in your backyard in a couple of months… if you’re gonna be the zero and not the hero, we’re coming for you, and we’re gonna have a good time doing it.’

His belligerent insistence that he would show up in the “backyards” of Republican leaders who don’t “fight for Trump” seemingly reflects an intention to launch primary challenges against those leaders. Check out his comments below:

At another point, while ranting against trans people, Jr. made the laughably outrageous assertion that his Instagram account is being “censored to hell right now.” The level of deranged self-importance that must be required in order to characterize potential minor, routine social media mishaps as supposed evidence of a corporate censorship operation is just staggering. He sounds maniacal and unhinged.
