Former First Lady Michelle Obama did not want to go out with President Barack Obama when they first met. After all, she was his boss at the law firm where they worked. But he kept asking, and eventually, they went out for ice-cream. She was not happy when her husband decided to run for the Senate, and she went to the White House very reluctantly.
Yet, she did all of this for him. She is the rock to his big dreams, the down-to-earth to his enthusiasm, and the serious to his charismatic smile. Yet, they share a commitment to their relationship, dedication to public service, brilliance, and that sense of humor we remember.
