President Joe Biden seemed to dunk on Fox News reporter Peter Doocy at a Tuesday press availability. After the newly elevated Fox News White House correspondent asked Biden what he “talked to Vladimir Putin about,” the president replied, “You,” adding that Putin “sends his best.”

Check out the moment below:

Biden spoke to Putin on Tuesday, intending to discuss — among other issues — the recently revealed Russian hacking campaign targeting U.S. government interests, the poisoning of Putin critic Alexei Navalny, and the recent mass detentions of demonstrators in Russia who turned out in support of Navalny, who Putin’s regime imprisoned following his return to Russia after recovering from the poisoning attempt. According to a readout from the Biden administration covering the call, Biden and Putin also agreed to “work urgently” on an extension of the New START nuclear weapons treaty and “agreed to explore strategic stability discussions on a range of arms control and emerging security issues.”

Meanwhile, Doocy has already presented a number of apparent attempts at “gotcha” questions to White House press secretary Jen Psaki. At a Tuesday White House press conference, Doocy asked Psaki if a “Florida Olympics in 2021 is something [she] can see the White House supporting,” which has no apparent relevance whatsoever to the actual operations of the United States federal government. Before that bizarrely out-of-place question, Doocy also asked “what if” the Senate “can’t” simultaneously deal with the impending second impeachment trial for Trump and other agenda items that are more directly geared towards providing support for the American people. The question was remarkably vague and seemed designed to provoke some kind of riled up response.

At the first White House press conference of the Biden administration, Doocy asked Psaki, “If President Biden wants a theme of his presidency to be unifying the country, does he think that Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer should drop a potentially divisive Senate impeachment trial?” Like the others, this question seemed design to provoke some kind of rift-making response. The executive branch has no substantive role in impeachment proceedings.
