Lauren Boebert Gets Humiliated By Virtual Town Hall Questioner

The woman who leads with her face, Marjorie Tayler Greene, is not the only QAnon believer. Pundits have been trying to figure out why the GOP and its House Minority Leader, wishing-upon-a-star-speaker, Kevin McCarthy support her. It could be that they fear her relationship with Donald Trump, but the answer could be far less taxing.

The Democrats stripped MTG of her major committee assignments, but 199 of her fellow Republicans voted for her. Why? One elderly man voted for John McCain and I-can-see-Alaska-from-my-backyard Sarah Palin, because he thought she was “nice-looking.”

No matter how old they get, there is a group of men who will look into her eyes and believe her. Is that what happened with Representative Greene? There is a good possibility. Think of the convicted Russian spy Maria Butina who traveled in NRA circles freely.

Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) may fall into that same camp. She owns a gun-themed restaurant and circumvents the metal detector upon entry to Congress.

She just held a virtual town hall on Thursday. During the night, some of her constituents asked her about some of her more controversial remarks. Then, one individual asked her which prison she preferred if she is convicted of treason, The Westword reported.

Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District representative’s campaign manager Sherronna Bishop “praised the far-right, neo-fascist group the Proud Boys in a Facebook video last year,” ABC News reported:

‘Lauren denounces all forms of violence and racism, and has no connection whatsoever with the Proud Boys. Connecting Lauren in any way with the Proud Boys on the part your organization would be wholly irresponsible. Lauren has been on the record multiple times saying that racism has no place in America.’

Then, Boebert appeared on a “QAnon-friendly podcast.” She said:

‘Everything that I’ve heard of Q, I hope that this is real. Because it only means that America is getting stronger and better, and people are returning to conservative values.’

We have a former president on trial for incitement to insurrection right now. Yet, this is among the first words on the real issue: treason.

The first question of the town hall meeting came from a woman named Carrie:

‘Thank you so much, I’m so excited to speak with you congresswoman. Just a couple things, first: your incendiary tweets have not addressed the 53,000 cases of COVID in District 3, nor have they addressed the 900 deaths in our district — it’s disgraceful. You have also condoned [Rep.] Marjorie Taylor Greene’s incendiary tweets that promoted anti-semitism and racist comments.’

‘I want to know why you do…’

Boebert cut her off:

‘I want to address COVID relief.’

Then, 15 minutes into the virtual town hall, a caller asked her the question of the evening. Where would she like to be held after she was convicted for treason?

Boebert shut her down:

‘Next question.’

LISTEN: Lauren Boebert finally holds her town hall — and the questions are absolutely brutal
