The recently exed-president is complaining that President Joe Biden is getting all the credit for his handling of the coronavirus vaccination process. Of course, Donald Trump barely brushed over it in his desperate attempt to steal the 2020 presidential election. Now, his failed power grab onto the presidential ring at any cost has come back to bite him, hard.

It appears that the ex made more than a couple of calls trying to pressure Georgia state officials into “finding” him the votes necessary to. throw the election back to him. There is any number of charges staring into Trump’s face. After all, he is not immune to state charges under the terms of a self-inflicted presidential pardon.

The former president spent an hour on a call trying to manipulate and intimidate Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger into throwing the election to him. Recently, Raffensperger’s office found a recording of 45 calling a state investigator. She had placed it in her trash folder. State officials thought that the audio of that call did not exist, but then it emerged.

The former POTUS had been conducting a serious campaign to spread “the big lie,” that the 2020 presidential election went to President Biden only due to widespread voter fraud. During his call to Georgia Investigator Frances Watson, he asked her to look for “dishonesty” when she checked the signatures on absentee ballots, especially in Fulton County. Atlanta is in Fulton Country.

CNN reported that the ex-president told her:

‘But if you go back two years, and if you can get to Fulton, you are going to find things that are going to be unbelievable. The dishonesty that we’ve heard from. But Fulton is the mother lode.’

He continued telling her that he hoped “we” could win Georgia:

‘[Y]ou have the most important job in the country right now.’

Watson told the affiliate of CNN, WSB-TV that she, too, had recorded Trump’s call in December, days before Christmas:

‘It’s not every day, that probably will never happen again in my lifetime. It is something that is not expected, as I mentioned in the call you know I was shocked that he would take the time to do that.’

But why did Watson place the copy of their call in her trash folder? She said that she did not feel pressured by Trump. Naturally, she was surprised that the leader of the free world had time to call her.

The Washington Post originally released the story describing how her audio file came about. The Georgia Secretary of State’s Office responded to an FOIA request, and that was when the December 23 call first showed.

The Secretary of State in Georgia is concurrently holding an investigation into Trump’s attempts to overthrow Georgia’s election results.
