Democrats Reveal Plan End Lauren Boebert’s Career In Congress

If we thought that all the buzz about elections had finally released its crushing hold on us, we might be wrong. It is an unfortunate fact about the U.S. House of Representatives that they must gear up and go through an election every other year. This time, the Democrats have a plan to take down one of the most frightening members of Congress.

Representative Lauren Beobert (R-CO) accused Democrats of being “selfish dictators” and slammed Democrats for “advancing gun control legislation,” according to The Washington Post:

‘Rep. Lauren Boebert (R- Colo.) has repeatedly told a misleading story about a fatal beating outside her restaurant when discussing her support of open carry laws.’

She looks like someone we might stand behind at a grocery checkout counter. However, Representative Lauren Boebert is a strong proponent of the Second Amendment, specifically gun rights. Her campaign ads show her in her gun-themed restaurant, and sometimes she is carrying a gun. If the Colorado representative would turn around, she would see the Democrats driving a big steam roller behind her.

Wednesday is the final day of the first fundraising quarter, and Boebert’s likely Democratic opponent hauled in over $614,000 since January 1, 2021. The rancher and educator is the current president pro tem of the Colorado state Senate.

Democrats believe they have “a real chance of ousting Boebert:”

‘Democrats are excited about Donovan because they think they have a real chance of ousting Boebert, who only won her rural western Colorado district by 6 points in 2020 — and it will be redrawn this year by an independent commission. Dems have a better chance of victory here than in the deep-red seats held by other conservative firebrands; Greene, for example, won her northwest Georgia seat by 50 points.’

Will some of the most prominent pro-Trump voices be good candidates for losing their seats? These would be “Boebert and Reps. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC), Andy Harris (R-MD), and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-A.)?”

There were also the 10 Republican members who voted to impeach Donald Trump. What about them? The ex-president threatened and started made good on his threat to take them down for what he considered disloyalty.

The Democrats’ strategy might be to flood the Republican representatives’ opponents with cash infusions:

‘Watch this space as we learn more about whether Trump’s falsehoods about the 2020 election — which spurred the insurrection — could fuel Democrats in 2022 and harm the very Republicans who have stood by him.’

Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) was one of those 10 Republicans. He brought in $1.1 million for his re-election campaign. That was three times the amount of his 2019 first quarter. This small group of Republicans has shared the wealth. Who knew the never-Trump GOP members would cash in for their stand against Trump?

Democrats have had to all pull together to accomplish any legislation, because they only held 50 of the 100 U.S. Senate, with Vice President Kamala Harris (D-CA) breaking the tie.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) House can only afford to lose three votes, ergo, the need for additional Senate and House Democratic seats.
