They called Representative Matt Gaetz (R-GA) and his father Daddy Gaetz and Baby Gaetz.” Before he came to his current job on the hill, both he and his father were in the Florida state congress. The U.S. representative was a state representative, and his father was a senator. Some women also referred to the younger Gaetz as “Creepy Gaetz.” No wonder the U.S. representative allegedly had to pay women for sex.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) under William Barr started a federal investigation into Gaetz, and it is ongoing. The DOJ is investigating whether he and one of his friends paid cash or gave other valuables to women in return for sex, ABC News confirmed.

Earlier,  Gaetz spoke with The Axios:

‘The allegations of sexual misconduct against me are false. I have definitely, in my single days, provided for women I’ve dated. You know, I’ve paid for flights, for hotel rooms. I’ve been, you know, generous as a partner. I think someone is trying to make that look criminal when it is not.’

Gaetz’s office released a statement to The New York Times, reading:

‘Matt Gaetz has never paid for sex. Matt Gaetz refutes all the disgusting allegations completely. Matt Gaetz has never ever been on any such websites whatsoever. Matt Gaetz cherishes the relationships in his past and looks forward to marrying the love of his life.’

Gaetz and a man who was indicted last year for allegedly trafficking a teenage girl, local politician Joel Greenberg, was “indicted last year for allegedly trafficking a teenage girl for sex in 2017.” Right now, the DOJ is currently trying to determine whether the U.S. representative “had sex with the 17-year-old, according to sources.”

Greenberg pled not guilty to the charges. During an interview on Fox News, Gaetz claimed he was being extorted over the investigation. And someone had alleged:

‘[There were] pictures of me with child prostitutes [which were] obviously false. There will be no such pictures because no such thing happened. But really on March 16 was when this got going from the extortion standpoint.’

Donald Trump draws people such as Gaetz to him. The Florida representative claimed adamantly:

‘[I] had a relationship with a 17-year-old [these allegations are] totally false.’

Gaetz added that this was just a matter of extortion. He said someone had:

‘[There were] pictures of me with child prostitutes [which were] obviously false. There will be no such pictures because no such thing happened. But really on March 16 was when this got going from the extortion standpoint.’

Gaetz’s office released this statement to The Times, reading:

‘Matt Gaetz has never paid for sex. Matt Gaetz refutes all the disgusting allegations completely. Matt Gaetz has never ever been on any such websites whatsoever. Matt Gaetz cherishes the relationships in his past and looks forward to marrying the love of his life.’
