Terrified Trump Has Panic-Induced Meltdown Against Jan 6 Commission

So it appears that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is simply a puppet on Donald Trump’s strings. Any time he makes a jerked move toward reality, the boss yanks him back — hard. The representative was just as frightened as many of the other legislators during the January 6 insurrection. But he is willing to give up everything to follow Trump’s outrageous denial of reality, all to win the House speaker’s job.

McCarthy appointed a representative on his behalf to negotiate for a fair January 6 Commission, along the lines of the 911 Commission. He even sent the negotiators emails with his demands, such as an equal number of Democrats and Republicans on the Commission.

Both parties have been working diligently to produce a bipartisan commission to prevent a repeat of January 6. The purpose of it would be to shine an intense spotlight on the insurrection where Trump invited 8,000 of his followers to Washington D.C., ginned them into a bloodlust frenzy, and pulled the trigger shooting them directly at the Capitol Building.

Call the insurrection what it really was, an attempted coup, by a president who lost by seven million votes, but refused to step down. Donald Trump was responsible for the damage done to the symbol of our freedom, the Capitol Building itself, and five deaths. The mob was his weapon of choice.

A protesting woman was trampled by the crowd. Another was shot by the Secret Service as she tried to break into the legislators’ chamber. The mob killed one policeman, and had they found Vice President Mike Pence (R), they would have hung him from the gallows outside. Plus, 140 police were injured. Two police officers committed suicide in the following days.

Trump watched the events unfold on television, clearly relishing what he had wrought.

Then Tuesday, McCarthy yanked the tablecloth out from under the entire commission, according to CNN. He said he had no involvement with the representatives, which was clearly a provable lie. He also said he wanted to include summer protests by Black Lives Matter and Antifa (anti-fascists).

Naturally, we discovered that Trump had other ideas. McCarthy had to choose between reality, honor, and integrity or his hunger for the speaker’s job. Ironically, the ex-president admitted in a communication that the January 6 Commission should be limited to just the January 6 events.

Now that the ex has been excommunicated by Twitter and Facebook, at least temporarily, he has started a blog. There he railed like a madman demanding that Republicans stop the January 6 Commission plans. He wrote:

‘Republicans in the House and Senate should not approve the Democrat trap of the January 6 Commission.’

‘It is just more partisan unfairness and unless the murders, riots, and fire bombings in Portland, Minneapolis, Seattle, Chicago, and New York are also going to be studied, this discussion should be ended immediately. Republicans must get much tougher and much smarter, and stop being used by the Radical Left. Hopefully, Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy are listening!’
