Oh, wow. Not only do we have a cool President Joe Biden, we just discovered the First Lady Jill (call-me-Jill) Biden has a free spirit lurking about in unexpected ways. If clothes make the man, then they just might be an indicator that the first lady wears her messages in subtle and not-so-subtle ways.

Dr. Biden went from a simple all-raspberry outfit on her visit New Mexico and Arizona to this, according to The Town and Country magazine;

‘[E]dgier look, featuring a leather skirt and patterned tights, to arrive at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. sartorial bang, stepping out in a series of stunning outfits—many of which were created by American designers with an eye toward sustainability.’

The former First Lady Melania Trump went to visit some of the children who had been separated from their parents at the border, The New York Times reported. There, she famously work a green jacked that read “I really don’t care, do u?” It must have lost something in the translation.

Conversely, First Lady Jill Bid, slipped into about three inches of the wild side but definitely 100% support of American products when she wore this:

‘Dr. Biden chose a Gabriela Hearst dress for a joint session of Congress. According to the designer’s Instagram post, the silk wool dress and mask were made entirely of existing fabrics, and crafted and embroidered in New York.’

In another way, she express her message:

‘The First Lady wore an all pink coordinated outfit to mark Equal Pay Day. She often matches her masks to her outfits.’

‘While visiting the new children’s museum at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Dr. Biden wore a brown and white polka dot shirtdress and brown suede boots.’

Instagram noted that she wore her clothing in a color that symbolized unity for her. Then, there was the hand embroidered quote to ‘signify trust, confidence, and stability. One of her favorite designers is New York-based Alexandra O’Niel who frequently makes her dress and overcoat ensembles.

He operates with a waste-reducing made-to-order model, and proudly manufactures his wares in the city’s Garment District and noted that the color blue was chosen by her to “signify trust, confidence, and stability.

Dr. Biden has also worn a coat, dress, and face mask by the Mexican-American Jonathan Cohen:

 ‘[He] is passionate about sustainability—and, fittingly, Biden’s mask was made from fabric remnants left over from Cohen’s previous seasons.’

Notebly, Mrs. Biden wore a black jacket with the word “LOVE” on the back during President Biden’s first in-person meeting with Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Thursday. She wore a black jacket over her black-and-white polka dot dress as the leaders and spouses met on a scenic overlook in the south of England:

‘The jacket had a single word on it: “LOVE.”’

She said that the jacket was intended to offer a “sense of hope” to a “world gripped by Covid. The New York Times wrote”

‘I think that we’re bringing love from America. This is a global conference, and we are trying to bring unity across the globe. And I think it’s needed right now, that people feel a sense of unity from all the countries and feel a sense of hope after this year of the pandemic.’
