It is a good thing that The Lincoln project did not set its latest mini-video, Last week in the Republican Party…, in Boris Pasternak’s Russian novel Dr. Zhivago. The whole party would have frozen to death. If his pack of people like Russia so much, the idea is not so far-fetched.
Senator Linsey Graham (R-SC) would have kicked up the snow and said:
‘This is all fluff and happy talk.’
The Lincoln Project did not go for a Russian-sounding mom-and-pop band. Instead, it pulled out some rinky-dink music for its latest ad. We just changed the location.
The king of conspiracy Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) had the solution to Zhivago’s blizzard. He would alter the moon’s orbit an inch at a time (that is all it can move) and in 20 years the blizzard would dry up and blow away.
In a snowstorm, it would have been far easier for the former president to cheat at golf. Graham kept turning up like a bad penny with his one-liner throughout the mini-video:
‘I miss Trump.’
MyPillow Guy looked up into the sky and complained about Google taking away Trump’s “gmails and Google maps.” Then he might have said:
‘What is this fluffy stuff? I think I’ll use it to stuff my pillows.’
Graham threw a white ball in the white stuff:
‘I miss Trump.’
Eric Trump’s wife, Laura, would have offered up her advice to handle the deluge of snowfall:
‘I guess they should arm up, get ready, and start taking matters into their own hands.’
That is right, they probably would have to shoot their way out of this white mess. And of course, Senator Ron Johnson’s (R-MN) befuddled idea was to climb inside of the “liberal political mind,” but we all knew he would not fit.
We heard a voice but could not see through the snow flurries:
‘I miss Trump.’
Alex Jones, the ultra-conservative talk show host taped himself announcing that Donald Trump had asked him to lead the ginned-up insurrection mob into the Capitol Building three days in advance of January 6. But since Google took away his Google maps, too, he was just as lost as the rest of the gaggle.
But alas, the scenes in the latest My Lincoln Project video were still in the USA YMCA. However, this motley crew’s answers were no more appropriate.
‘I miss Trump.’
