Let this be a warning to all of those who have fallen under Donald Trump’s mesmerizing spell. He is just a man who has conning running through his veins, and who may have been born without a heart. Brian Kolfage of Miramar Beach, Florida may be finding that out the hard way.

He set up a GoFundMe for the ex-president. Its purpose was to inspire people to look under their sofa cushions for their loose change and send it in to finance Trump’s border wall. The Florida man kicked off the GoFundMe page in late 2018. His goal was $5 billion. But Kolfage screwed up in a big way.

The Donald’s alleged crimes just slide right off of him, including an attempt to overthrow the American democracy and insert himself in a dictatorship suit. He probably has a gold-encrusted one complete with epaulets already hanging in his closet. The reason crimes slide off of him may be due to that orange Teflon tan he gets. At the same time, prosecutors say that the triple amputee, who tried to fly to the sun with Trump, will be facing charges, according to The Orlando Sentinel:

‘[T]wo counts of filing a false tax return and one count of wire fraud related to the electronic filing of his 2019 tax return in Florida.’

‘He also faces a separate federal indictment out of New York for fraud and money laundering-related offenses. [His tax returns showed he was] engaged in a scheme to defraud the government.’

Apparently, the GoFundMe scheme hauled in “hundreds of thousands of dollars from multiple organizations” in 2019. We Build The Wall, Inc., funds all went straight into Kolfage’s checking account.

The guy’s crime was that he did not report any of this income to the IRS (Internal Revenue Service). It does not like that.

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Services began a criminal investigation against Build The Wall, which is a nonprofit company. It raised over  $25 million, ABC News reported.

The criminal-in-the-making faced charges of allegedly leveraging fake-news websites while crowdsourcing donations for a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico, The Media Matters reported.

Acting United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida Jason Coody announced the charges on Thursday. Authorities said that Kolfage’s arraignment was scheduled for July 21 in Pensacola, FL.

Kolfage became a triple amputee due to injuries he sustained during the Iraq War in 2004.
