Almost all televised “news-based” networks are faced with the big-bucks entertainment factor. Even CNN and MSNBC slant their news in the direction of the party they support, to the left. Then there are the Fox and One Networks with their leaning right down-to-the-ground entertainment factor reflecting where they stand along their party’s parade of beliefs. This is how they express their political news-entertainment or would that be entertainment-news?

Los Angeles public schools go all-out toward mask-wearing. Ho-hum. Idaho public schools do not. Roll the presses. Well…warm up your computers. Most Americans supported the mandate, but they tended to fall in patterns.

President Joe Biden released his plan for getting more Americans their COVID-19 vaccinations. He said, according to The Associated Press (AP):

‘We are in the tough stretch and it could last for a while.’

Axios reported that The Morning Consult-Politico Poll came out Monday with its interesting results. It found that 60 percent of people supported President  Biden’s requirement for all federal employees to have the COVID-19 shot. A minority disagreed, 39 percent.

In fact, 60 percent of Americans even supported businesses with 100 employees or more getting vaccinated. Again, 39 percent opposed it.

The AP reported on The American Medical Association’s “praise for Biden:”

‘On the other hand, there were strong words of praise for Biden’s efforts to get the nation vaccinated from the American Medical Association, the National Association of Manufacturers, and the Business Roundtable — though no direct mention of his mandate for private companies.’

An AP-NORC Poll conducted in August found 55 percent of Americans favored requiring government workers to be fully vaccinated, compared with 21 percent who opposed it.

Furthermore, 58 percent of those interviewed supported the mandate on privately-own businesses. And a full 56 percent of Americans supported the mandate that federal workers being vaccinated. President Biden released his all-encompassing strategy to get more of the unvaccinated Americans vaccinated.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) and some GOP governors have been aggressive about what they call “government overreach.” And they said they had every intention of challenging the president about it.

There, they have been deeply divided. A full 80 percent of the Democrats supported these mandates. Independents supported them at 60 percent. But only 30 percent of the Republicans supported the mandates.

A full 58 percent of all American citizens indicated their bosses required masks at the workplace. In August, that ever-changing number was 51 percent. For 25 percent of employees, that looked like wearing masks, up from 19 percent in mid-August. Yet, 74 percent of the interviewees had not been faced with a vaccination mandate.

The Morning Consult-Politico Poll was conducted from September 10 through September 13. The poll interviewed 1,065 random adults with a doable margin of error of 3.2 +/- percentage points.
