Well, Donald Trump was right. The Cyber Ninjas doing their first-ever election audit discovered that there were indeed uncounted votes.
It appears that President Joe Biden won an extra 99 votes. And Trump lost 261 more votes, according to The New York Times. And the Donald was worse than irate. A draft report of the Cyber Ninjas findings hit the airwaves Friday, and he went after the media big time.
The ex-president released a statement via his leadership PAC Save America already trying to convince people that what they heard about the Cyber Ninjas’ audit was not true, according to CNN:
‘[The audit] has uncovered significant and undeniable evidence of FRAUD.’
Trump insisted that the 2020 election had been stolen from him and blamed Fox News for reporting that. He still holds that grudge. This time, he blamed the “fake news media [for] already trying to ‘call it’ again.” Then, he was doing what he has always done, bent the facts to become the reality of what he wanted:
‘Huge findings in Arizona! However, the Fake News Media is already trying to “call it” again for Biden before actually looking at the facts – just like they did in November!’
What was it called, when people buy into his reality? Crazy:
‘This is a major criminal event and should be investigated by the Attorney General immediately. The Senate’s final report will be released today at 4:00PM (sic) ET. I have heard it is far different than that being reported by the Fake News Media.’
The forensic audit of the 2020 election in Maricopa County, Arizona, which contains the city of Phoenix, was planned when a Republican-dominated Senate did its best to give the Donald what he wanted. And that was a win to overturn the state in his favor.
It seems that Trump was the first president since 1996 to lose Arizona. So, he just conveniently changed the facts, at least in his own mind.
