Liz Cheney Thoroughly Shames Steve Scalise For Abandoning Democracy

Several well-placed patriots prevented the Donald Trump from turning our democracy into a foul dictatorship — but just barely.

One of those courageous patriots was the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney and current Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY). She told the truth, and Trump hated her for that. He wanted his totally invented, fanciful “truth” instead. He tried to brainwash the nation into believing the election was “stolen” from him.

America has only had one real party on the Hill in Washington, D.C., and that has been the Democratic Party. The so-called Republican Party has been dismantled and reshaped around Trump’s pudgy case. The ex-president has continued giving his marching orders. And Republicans obeyed with the exception of Cheney and one other.

Even though Cheney had been stripped of her committees, she and another brave Republican, Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) continued fighting for the real truth and moved to the investigative January 6 Select Committee. The Wyoming representative tweeted:

‘Millions of Americans have been sold a fraud that the election was stolen. Republicans have a duty to tell the American people that this is not true. Perpetuating the Big Lie is an attack on the core of our constitutional republic.’

Cheney included this tweet showing the Republican Whip, Steve Scalise (R-LA) refusing to say that “the 2020 election was not stolen from Donald Trump:”

‘Steve Scalise on Fox News Sunday repeatedly refuses to acknowledge that the 2020 election was not stolen from Donald Trump.’
