The January 6 Select Committee is really heating up. In a blockbuster exclusive, The Rolling Stone Magazine, reported “multiple members of Congress” were involved in the January 6 failed coup. Now, Democrats are holding some of its Republican House members responsible.

Representative Hakeem Jeffries noted that anyone who helped the insurrectionists attack the U.S. Capitol be held accountable. No, he was not recommending a simple slap on the hands as so often happens. This time, he was calling for far more.

One of those failed coup supporters was Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), but she was not alone by any means:

‘Along with Greene, the conspiratorial pro-Trump Republican from Georgia who took office earlier this year, the pair both say the members who participated in these conversations or had top staffers join in.’

‘[They] included Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.), Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.), Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), and Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas).’

Jeffries came down hard on this wayward group of representatives, calling for any who “plotted to attack the Capitol” to be held criminally responsible. He tweeted Tuesday morning:

‘Any Member of Congress who plotted to attack the Capitol on January 6th must be criminally investigated.’
