Adam Kinzinger Taunts Marjorie Greene Over Biden Infrastructure Win

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) publicly mocked Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) after she freaked out over the support from 13 House Republicans (including Kinzinger) for a bipartisan infrastructure deal that the House passed on Friday. That deal also had the support of 19 Republican Senators, and it ultimately provides funding for initiatives like shoring up the nation’s roadways and the like — and yet, Greene proclaimed that the infrastructure bill was part of Biden’s “Communist takeover of America via so-called infrastructure.” Honestly, how inept really is she? Does Greene have any meaningful understanding of what Communism is? Does she understand what infrastructure is? Does she get that the two have no meaningful connection at all in this context?

As Kinzinger put it:

‘Infrastructure=communism is a new one. Eisenhower’s interstate system should be torn up or else the commies will be able to conveniently drive! Red Dawn in real life… Also I’m assuming that the “Republicans” being in quotes implies that if you don’t believe in Jewish space lasers, and believe in roads, you aren’t a real Republican… But toss funding for the Countering Jewish Space Laser (CJSP) program in there and she’d be a big yes.’

One of Greene’s more infamous conspiracy theories involves belief in the possibility that space lasers with connections to the prominent and wealthy Jewish family known as the Rothschilds could have been responsible for wildfires in California. Obviously, such is utter nonsense — but the fact that someone who is now a member of Congress ever entertained the idea aptly shows how far off base that she really is. Check out Kinzinger’s comments below:

As reported by The New York Times, the infrastructure deal “will provide $550 billion in new funds over 10 years to shore up roads, bridges and highways, improve internet access and modernize the nation’s power grid,” and it “also includes the United States’ largest investment to prepare for climate change: $50 billion to help communities grapple with” the devastating effects of climate disasters. It also includes other provisions. While in office, Trump talked up a big game regarding infrastructure, but the concept of “infrastructure week” became a punchline of sorts during the Trump era because he never actually managed to accomplish anything on that front. Much of his administration was taken up by petty infighting and similar hurdles.
