Forced Removal From Congress For Paul Gosar Over AOC Murder Fantasy Proposed By Sister

Jennifer Gosar, a sister of Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), says that she believes that expelling her brother from the House would be an appropriate next step after his recent punishments for a violent video targeting Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), adding yet another name to the list of people who’ve raised the prospect of kicking Paul out of Congress altogether. Tim Gosar, another sibling of the Congressman, has also suggested expulsion, and Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) and Ocasio-Cortez herself have also brought up the possibility. Unfortunately, though, expelling a member from the House requires the agreement of at least two-thirds of the chamber, and with the current party breakdown in place, that would require far more Republicans than could reasonably be expected to come through on issues of integrity.

The partly animated video targeting Ocasio-Cortez was edited to depict Paul killing the New York Congresswoman. It also showed Paul swinging swords at President Joe Biden, and the Arizona Congressman has now been censured and kicked out of his committee spots in the House over the video, for which he’s remained unapologetic. Notably, though, this situation might not even be the only instance of violent imagery targeting Ocasio-Cortez emerging from the Gosar camp. The AZ Mirror reported this month how a Twitter account ‘claiming to be the creator of the video shared an unfinished video in which Gosar is seen as a character from another anime called “Death Note” in which the main character has the power to kill people by writing their names in a journal.’ Gosar writes Ocasio-Cortez’s name in the journal in the video.

Jennifer, meanwhile, commented as follows regarding the punishment issued against her brother so far:

‘I wouldn’t say that is a stopping point, because what we have seen from my brother — this is a repeated threat against Ocasio-Cortez… So it leads from that, we have grounds for more… From all the information we’ve learned, I believe my brother to be a co-conspirator in a coup attempt against the United States government. So I think expulsion is actually the most appropriate next step after this. But certainly censure and committee-stripping is a good start.’

Her reference to Paul’s involvement in a coup attempt covers the Congressman’s connections to attempts to overthrow the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. Check out Jennifer’s comments below:
