As Americans watched the attempted coup committed by Donald Trump’s most rabid supporters, a face in the crowd reflected the horror of what was happening. With black mascara streaming down her face, Gina Bisignano yelled, “you’re not gonna take away our Trumpy Bear!” as she and hundreds of others tried to stop the congressional proceeding to certify the election of Joe Biden.

Today, Bisignano is well-known for that look and that crazed statement outside the Capitol Building. She’s broke, having paid everything she has for lawyers and other fees related to her multiple felony crimes. She’s lost her business, a salon that, among other things, sold fake eyelash extensions. With no other options available to her, Bisignano is cooperating with the FBI as part of a plea agreement.
According to Law & Crime:
‘Under the plea agreement, Bisignano “shall cooperate fully, truthfully, completely and forthrightly” with federal, state, and local investigations into Jan. 6. This may include answering questions, providing sworn written statements, taking polygraph tests, and “participating in covert law enforcement activities.”’
"Gina Bisignano would lose her salon, Guy Reffitt would lose his freedom, and Rosanne Boyland would lose her life." Phenomenal, must-read story about three Jan. 6 rioters by former @reason staffer @KerryHowley in @NYMag. https://t.co/toDytP3muU

In that agreement, Bisignano pleaded guilty to six of the seven charges against her, including civil disorder; destruction of government property; aiding and abetting; restricted building or grounds; violent entry or disorderly conduct. The only charge she did not plead guilty to was obstruction of an official proceeding, which carries a significant sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
‘After her removal from the tunnel, Bisignano spoke with other rioters on the Lower West Terrace about ‘what Pence’s done’ and how to gain entry to the U.S. Capitol building. Bisignano and others were standing in front of a semi-circular window when Bisignano started shouting “break the window! Break the window!” Then, another rioter on the ledge of the windowsill took out a small hatchet-style took and started to hammer away at the glass of the window, while Bisignano said “do it, do it!’”
Gina Bisignano pleaded guilty to six offenses, and DOJ and the defense agreed her sentencing guidelines range is 41-51 months.
There’s also the critical cooperation component, and a provision about potential witness protection. https://t.co/CCTW8s0AJR pic.twitter.com/3GBwiPcrB4

Bisignano will now become an informant against the people she identified with and joined in a crime against her country less than one year ago. Her plea agreement states that she may be required to complete a number of different tasks in order to fulfill her agreement to cooperate with the government.
‘”shall cooperate fully, truthfully, completely and forthrightly” with federal, state, and local investigations into Jan. 6. This may include answering questions, providing sworn written statements, taking polygraph tests, and “participating in covert law enforcement activities.”‘
I don't think I feel as badly as she does after being arrested…

“Everybody, we need gas masks, we need weapons.”
“We need strong, angry patriots to help our boys, they don’t want to leave.”
“We need protection.” pic.twitter.com/rBaY89lwpf— Jim W. (@oIdhockeyplayer) December 21, 2021
