The GOP has no idea who it is. Does it support Donald Trump? Partially. Does it think the January 6 attempted coup was just a walk in the park? Many say that. The Lincoln Project lets people decide for themselves, but we must say McCarthy’s sprint down the hallway, away from reporters was definitely amusing.

McConnell set the Republicans down the right path toward a Democracy. He spoke about the infamous January 6 attempted coup, The New York Times reported:

‘We saw it happen. It was a violent insurrection for the purpose of trying to prevent the peaceful transfer of power after a legitimately certified election, from one administration to the next. That’s what it was.’

Then, there was House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) who lives in Trump Fantasy World, an autocratic nation. The Business Insider reported on the representative’s sprint away from reporters after he “defended the RNC after it censured Cheney and Kinzinger for participating in the Jan 6 committee:”

‘McCarthy said that “legitimate political discourse” refers to people who “were in Florida that day.” But he declined to say whether he supported the censure resolution.’

Check out how The Lincoln Project handled the great GOP divide:

‘The Republican Party is in disarray.’

Will McConnell win our Democracy, or will McCarthy takes us into a dictatorship?
