Consumer Services Division Puts Melania Trump Under Investigation

Just as her husband Donald Trump does, the former first lady Melania Trump has been accused of grifting. She will host a “high tea” in April and tickets are on sale, according to The New York Times. A portion of the profits will go charity — of course which charity was not designated initially and the percentage was omitted, too. Irregardless, there is still one major problem.

The people handling the event pointed out that Melania Trump’s Be Best effort was calling this “Fostering the Future.” The “high tea” will give computer science scholarships to young people who had been in foster care.

Unfortunately for donors, no organization has been registered in Florida, where the first lady resides. Nothing for “Be Best” or “Fostering the Future.”

Melania responded in a tweet to the New York Times:

‘Dishonest reporting at it again. Everything has been done lawfully, & all documents are in the works. Read with caution-typical corrupt media. We are working w/Bradley Impact Fund, a Donor-Advised Fund, to select charities that will receive the donations to foster children.’

The ex-president’s wife went after the newspaper with a tweet that labeled it “dishonest:”

‘Everything has been done lawfully, & all documents are in the works. Read with caution-typical corrupt media. We are working w/Bradley Impact Fund, a Donor-Advised Fund, to select charities that will receive the donations to foster children.’

There was virtually no difference between Donald Trump’s campaign fundraising and the former president’s private fundraisers. Donors had to read the small print to find:

“The thing that is different about Trump is the making-money part seems to have permeated everything. There is this appearance, at least, that he is always thinking: “How can I make a profit off of this?”‘

The Times reported that Fox News host Bill O’Reilly toured with Donald Trump:

‘He has gone on an arena tour with the former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, where a backstage “V.I.P. package” sold for more than $7,500. He has published a $75 coffee-y his eldest son. He has turned an online Trump store into a MAGA merchandiser, with his company sending marketing missives to people on his 2020 campaign’s email list.’

It appeared that the first lady’s gifting adventure popped up during the newspaper digging into the ex-president, the New York Times wrote.

The Florida agency investigating Mrs. Trump is the Consumer Services Division. Spokesperson for the agency Erin Moffet released a statement. The Business Insider wrote:

“Consumer Services Division is currently investigating whether this event involves an entity operating in violation of Chapter 496, Florida Statutes.’

Even though Trump has been on the trail fundraising, his true intentions have not been declared. Will he run for president in 2024? Time will tell.
