When the GOP celebrated the signing into law Donald Trump’s plan to reduce taxes, they touted it as good for the American people and a tax break for every American. In truth, it helped only the wealthy class of people like Donald Trump, who bragged to his rich friends that he had just saved them “a lot of money.”

Now, President Joe Biden is ready to end those tax cuts and right some historical wrongs by taxing the billionaires who exploit American labor, including companies like Wal-Mart who rake in enormous profits by paying their people so little they must rely on food stamps and other social welfare programs. Of course, the GOP is declaring it a tax hike for everyone, which is just as ridiculous as saying Trump’s tax cuts were meant to benefit everyone.
On Twitter, GOP Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell tweeted about the new proposed tax plan, saying:
‘Democrats’ massive inflation is hammering working families. It’s badly hurt our entire economy. But President Biden just proposed a new budget that would dramatically increase liberal spending and slap the biggest tax hikes on American history on top. They just do not get it.’
Press secretary Jen Psaki, who regularly owns Fox News “journalists” in her press conferences, gave McConnell the same treatment.
