Trump Has Terrified Sounding Saturday Meltdown As Law Closes In

Former President Donald Trump is not helping his case that there’s actually nothing substantive to the proceedings of the House riot committee with his incessant public obsession over the panel.

“They are so afraid of President Trump, his abilities and love of America, that they will do and say anything to try to deny him the right to run again. Look what they have done in just over a year – destroying America – and you have to ask yourself WHY!” a Truth Social post Trump reposted to his account as this week drew to a close said, referencing the riot panel and (seemingly) Democrats in general. Other posts Trump put up from other Truth Social accounts include rhetoric such as what sounds like another attempted justification for what happened on January 6, deadly violence and all — after all, the post Trump shared insinuates, Trump supporters were merely upset about (imaginary) fraud.

“The rally had been planned. Well in advance. You ever seen a Trump rally? I was at the grand rapids rally election eve. A f’king site to see. They knew it would be Yuge. They knew his supporters were angry at the possibility of a stolen election. pelosi declined PDJT’s assistance. Refused. Makes one wonder,” the post says. Nancy Pelosi did not decline security personnel offered by then-President Trump. Trump has claimed he offered up to 20,000 National Guard troops for Capitol security around January 6, but there’s no evidence he ever made a formal authorization, and Pelosi wouldn’t even have the power to block such a thing! A follow-up post Trump also shared on his account from somebody else suggests Democrats essentially planned for violence at the Capitol to help block objections in Congress to the 2020 results. That’s obviously an utterly ridiculous claim, but this is where Trump’s head is seemingly at as he prepares to likely run for the presidency again.

“12 WINS & ZERO LOSSES THIS WEEK (Mary Miller won against all odds), 33 & 0 in Texas, 132 & 7 this cycle – there has never been anything like “our” Endorsement – and the Fake News New York Times writes that I may announce an early Presidential run because I haven’t done well with my Endorsements,” Trump himself posted Saturday. “Actually, doing better than ever, breaking all records. We are dealing with very sick, bad people in the Fake News Media… ….Also, beating everybody in the polls by really big, record type, numbers!”

These comments reek of desperation to distract people from the very real problems Trump is facing in connection to investigations into January 6 and what led up to it. The rhetorical hits keep coming from Congress and the Justice Department: Trump White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson has revealed Trump was apparently aware of and accepted the threat posed by weapons in the pro-Trump crowd in D.C. on January 6, helping solidify the portrait of his corrupt intent, and the Justice Department has recently taken action against a variety of the former president’s goons. Former Trump lawyer John Eastman had his phone seized, former Trump Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark had his residence searched, and Arizona state Senate President Sen. Karen Fann (R), who’s previously said she was in contact with Trump himself after the last presidential election, was recently subpoenaed by the FBI.
