The previous Chief of Staff Mark Meadows’ right-hand woman Cassidy Hutchinson described how an enraged Donald Trump acted on January 6. His Secret Service detail had refused to take him to the Capitol Building to lead the insurrection charge because it was simply too dangerous. Hutchinson described the ex-president’s odd actions. Now Hutchinson’s testimony has been corroborated.

A Washington DC police officer has managed to verify the details of Trump’s meltdown, according to a CNN source familiar with the matter. The officer was part of the presidential motorcade along with Trump’s Secret Service members on January 6. He told WTOP-FM News:

‘[He] was assigned to the motorcade with the Secret Service for Trump on January 6. He explained what he had seen  and recounted what was seen to committee investigators, according to the source.’

Two of CNN’s Secret Service sources have said they heard:

‘Trump angrily demanding to go to the Capitol and berating his detail when he didn’t get his way. The sources told CNN that stories circulated about the incident in the months after January 6 — including details that are similar to what Hutchinson described to the committee.’

Hutchinson was under oath when she testified that Secret Service member Ornato “told her the story in front of Engel.” And Engel did not disagree:

‘[H]e reached up towards the front of the vehicle to grab at the steering wheel then used his free hand to lunge towards [Secret Service lead agent Robert Engel].’

Hutchinson said the former White House Deputy Chief of Staff Tony Ornato told to her that the ex-president was “enraged at his Secret Service detail for blocking him from going to the Capitol.” He had planned on leading the coup.

After Hutchinson revealed the former president’s actions on that fateful day, the Secret Service men in question said they would testify against her. However, they have not found time to come forward, according to MSN News.

An anonymous Secret Service officer said that Engel planned on denying under oath Hutchinson’s story about Trump’s behavior in the vehicle. But he has not done so yet. The House January 6 Select Committee has also been talking to the driver regarding “possible testimony.”

This presidential outburst was not the exception, rather it was the rule in the Trump White House, CBS News reported this about Hutchinson:

‘Cassidy Hutchinson alleged that President Donald Trump threw his lunch at the wall in response to statements his attorney general made about the 2020 election. Hutchinson, a top aide to President Donald Trump’s chief of staff Mark Meadows, said in her testimony Tuesday before the House committee investigating Jan. 6 that she saw ketchup dripping on the wall after the Dec. 1, 2020 incident.’
