Matt Gaetz, a 40-year-old congressman who had to pay underage girls for sex, ridiculed a 19-year-old year for her appearance after she spoke out against his Turning Point USA speech about abortion activists being ugly women whom no one wants to impregnate. That young girl leveraged the attention Gaetz brought to her to raise, as of this date, more than $168,000 for abortion rights activism.

At the gathering of young “conservatives” (read: bigoted Trump cultists) for Turning Point USA, Gaetz said that abortion activists, women he apparently doesn’t find attractive (read: they’re too old for him), are “odious from the inside out. They’re like 5’2”, 350 pounds, and they’re like ‘Give me my abortions or I’ll get up and march and protest.’”

Olivia Julianna, an activist with Gen Z for Change, responded on social media to his fatphobic and misogynistic comments by saying ” I’m actually 5’11. 6’4 in heels,” she tweeted to her almost 190,000 Twitter followers. “I wear them so small men like you are reminded of your place.” Gaetz then tweeted a photo of her with comments indicating he had proven a point.

According to Teen Vogue:

‘The 19-year-old decided to “flip the script” on the congressman’s “hateful comments,” urging her followers to donate to abortion funds. As of Wednesday morning, she’s raised more than $168,000 for abortion funds and gained thousands of new followers across her social accounts. Teen Vogue caught up with Olivia to see what inspired her — and who could be her next target.’

Gaetz’s move saw Julianna bullied online, receiving hateful emails, racial slurs, and ugly comments about her appearance. The 19-year-old, who appears to be more of an adult than Gaetz is, said that she laughed off those comments and went on to raise tens of thousands of dollars for one of her favorite causes.

‘Honestly I know it might sound kinda crazy but I laughed. I was like this is gonna be good. I knew I would be able to make the best out of the situation because that’s what I do. It’s my job. People hate me because I’m 19 and think I’m a doe-eyed kid but I’m a political strategist for one of the biggest youth organizations in the country. This was almost like a gift from Matt Gaetz.’

Gaetz, along with his hero, the twice-impeached ex-president who lost the popular vote twice and tried to stage a coup to reinstall himself in the White House (and failed), throw childish tantrums whenever they’re criticized. However, he has not been able to shame or stop Julianna, who continues her fight without concern for Gaetz’s opinion.

‘I received hateful comments about my body, being like nobody would ever want to sleep with you, you would never need an abortion but they don’t really bother me. I know that the people out there who hate me are trying their hardest to get me to be insecure about myself and it’s not working.’
