People cheered for Donald Trump’s antagonist, CNN’s top White House journalist Jim Acosta. Now people cheer for President Joe Biden when Fox’s Peter Doocy is rude to him. Today was just another example of Doocy’s ill-mannered behavior.
As President Biden announced his student loan forgiveness program, Doocy came out with a totally off-subject question about the FBI’s search of Trump’s home/resort at Mar-a-Lag. On Fox News’ tweet, Doocy shouted:
‘How much advance notice did you have of the FBI’s plan to raid Mar-a-Lago?’
Our president replied:
‘I didn’t have any advance. None. Zero. Not one single bit.’
This was not President Biden’s first brush with the Fox News reporter. Last winter at the White House unaware that his mike was hot, the president called Doocy “a stupid son-of-a-b****,” The New York Times reported.
At the time, Fox News talking head Tucker Carlson commented:
‘What a nasty old man.’
But the current president is the one who called to “clear the air” within an hour last winter. Doocy said:
‘He said, “It’s nothing personal, pal. We were talking about just, kind of, moving forward.’
After covering 10 presidents, longtime CBS News anchor, Bob Schieffer, commented:
‘It was something we don’t see that often: a civil exchange. Both of them came off looking the better for it.’

It appears that President Biden is determined to take the high road with Doocy. Maybe the correspondent could point that road out on the map for Trump.
