Another Trump Backed Company Accused Of Refusing To Pay It’s Bills

Twitter banned Donald Trump after January 6, 2021, and the ex-president vowed to start his own social media company. As a result, 45 came up with Truth Social. But that was only half of the operation. His business partner Right-forge built the internet infrastructure to support the new social media site. Then, Trump stopped paying his bill to RightForce, and his business partner came after him for breach of contract. It gets worse.

Without RightForce, Trump’s Truth Social is in danger of going out of business. The ex-POTUS only made three payments to RightForge, and that is why his business partner has declared a breach of contract, according to Fox Business. And without RightForge, Truth Social cannot operate.

Digital World Acquisition Corp advised users to go elsewhere, The Vanity Fair reported:

‘In other words, according to the company, if you’re thinking of joining Truth Social for Trump, think about saving yourself a download.’

Truth Social had planned on merging with Digital World Acquisition Corp. But the deal fell through after the Department of Justice (DOJ) set up a grand jury investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

RightForge CEO Martin Avila has not rebutted rumors about “the disagreement between the two entities.” He released this statement:

‘Our founding vision is to make a second internet to support American ideas online. RightForge believes in the mission of President Trump’s free speech platform and wish to continue supporting the president in his media endeavors.’

In the beginning, Avila interviewed with The Axios in October 2021. At that point he supported Trump’s venture, calling it an expression of “living in a free country:”

‘If you believe that the president should be de-platformed, we believe that you’re not really interested in living in a free country. And that’s really what we’re all about is making sure that America stays true to its core ideas, and that the marketplace of ideas stays open.’

At that time, RightForce was building Truth Social’s infrastructure. Avila predicted the two organizations could not only be a strong competitor with Twitter, but it would have “more than 75 million users:

‘We’re laying the groundwork for that. That’s why there will be servers everywhere.’

Avila added that RightForge was working toward creating an infrastructure so that Truth Social could compete with Twitter and have more than 75 million users:

‘We’re laying the groundwork for that. That’s why there will be servers everywhere.’

Digital World Acquisition Corp predicted last May that Truth Social, a part of Trump Media and Technology Group, “may never generate any operating revenues or ever achieve profitable operations:”

‘There is no operating history upon which to base any assumption as to the likelihood that [Trump Media] will prove successful and [Trump Media] may never generate any operating revenues or ever achieve profitable operations. If TMTG is unsuccessful in addressing these risks, its business will most likely fail. [Truth Social has not been profitable] may begin to generate revenue from the Truth Social platform as early as 2023.’

Then, Trump Social informed RightForge that it stopped making the payments over a “breach of contract.” RightForce claimed Trump only made three payments and owes it “around $1.6 million.” The infrastructure company is “threatening legal action to recoup the money.”

Digital World wrote:

‘If President Trump becomes less popular or there are further controversies that damage his credibility or the desire of people to use a platform associated with him, and from which he will derive financial benefit, [Trump Media’s] results of operations, as well as the outcome of the proposed Business combination, could be adversely affected.’
