Rudy Giuliani Panics & Has Petrified Public Meltdown

Rudy Giuliani insisted on a weekend edition of his WABC radio show that President Joe Biden should stand trial for “crimes against humanity”… whatever that means.

Giuliani is currently facing reason to worry. He’s now a target of an ongoing criminal investigation in Georgia by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis into pro-Trump election meddling after the last presidential race. Giuliani’s status as a target means criminal charges are possible. Originally, he was roped into the probe via means including his involvement in assembling faked electoral votes for Trump from Georgia, where Biden was victorious, and his repeated, false statements to Georgia legislators about the 2020 presidential election. Now, Rudy sounds intent on diverting attention from issues including his own actions via finding somebody to blame for events that happened January 6.

“They’re lying about January 6 right now,” Giuliani insisted, according to an available transcription. “It’s the same group. Shifty [Adam Schiff] is the guy who told us he had the proof of Russian collusion. There is no proof. It was made up by Hillary Clinton… He’s a damn liar when he starts calling January 6 an insurrection or a revolt… He’s an inhumane human being when he fails to investigate Ashli Babbit’s killing or the involvement of Antifa or the involvement and the mistakes — or maybe worse — of the Capitol Police that led to a lot of this.” “Antifa,” the only loosely organized left-wing activism movement, was not involved in what transpired January 6, but the fact Giuliani remains willing to insist otherwise reiterates his lack of credibility.

Rudy acknowledged a need for punishment of those who assaulted police on January 6, but he credited Joe Biden for judicial decisions to which the president simply isn’t meaningfully connected. “By putting them in jail for 14 months and leaving them there, you’ve got a fascist state going on, pal,” Giuliani complained, referencing the lengthy pre-trial detention periods for certain rioters. “I’m not afraid to say that. Joe Biden, you run this place like this is a damn dictatorship and you should be tried for crimes against humanity.” Pre-trial detention — which was only put into use in a minority of criminal cases involving riot participants — didn’t start (conceptually speaking) with these cases. Meeting strict standards is required before a defendant becomes subject to pre-trial detention. In other words, Rudy’s attempted distractions aren’t all-that-compelling. His show is below:
