The violent Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) first came to light as she chased a new Parkland School shooting victim, David Hogg, and another student down the streets of Washington, DC. They wisely ignored the seemingly crazed woman. But the video showed the strange person telling them she had a gun in her purse. Now Greene is back screaming at another gun safety activist “Go to another country!”
Executive Director of the Gen Z-led Voters of Tomorrow Santiago Mayer asked the Georgia representative why she would be against gun safety legislation. Greene responded:
‘Shame on you. You know what? Go move to another country whre they take away your guns.’
Then Mayer made a clear concise point:
‘I want to live in a country where kids don’t get shot.’
The representative shot back at the immigrant from Mexico:
‘You’re not even a grateful American.’
Then a young woman in the crowd asked Greene:
‘[H]ow does the second Amendment prevent gun violence?’
Shortly after, the wayward representative posted a video on Twitter. At first the older woman appeared to intentionally step on Marianna Pecora’s foot.
Greene said “Excuse me,” although the representative seemed to lean into a kick and went directly for Pecora’s leg. It showed Greene actually appearing to assault the woman.
‘Oh my God,” Pecora said on the video. In response, Greene’s Communications Director Nick Dye gave the young woman a weak excuse even as the representative was talking to the activist, The Washington Post reported. Dye said:
‘You can’t block members of Congress.’

A college freshman, Pecora, 18, told The Post:
‘It’s honestly, like, really disheartening to think that a bunch of kids can hold themselves with better composure than a sitting member of Congress. We’ve been sitting in meetings all week with both Democrats and Republicans. Nobody has been anything but respectful. Everybody has been just so incredibly attentive, and taken us seriously and had, like, really productive conversations with us. Except for Marjorie Taylor Greene.’
