There were direct talks between the Donald Trump White House and an informal agent in charge of the attempted voting machine heist in major swing states. So how did we discover this? Former chief-of-staff Mark Meadows turned over a high stack of texts and other communications to the January 6 Select Committee. And CNN just uncovered more incriminating texts.
A key actor who had swallowed whole conspiracy theories, Phil Waldron, was one of the people pushing “various election-related conspiracy theories,” according to CNN. Waldron was searching for evidence to prove Trump’s lie that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him.
The New York Times investigated Waldron and found out that he believed that “Chinese Communist Officials” and Democrats’ funder George Soros were trying to steal the election for President Joe Biden:
‘In a pleasant Texas drawl, the former officer, Phil Waldron, told the hosts a story that was almost inconceivable: how a cabal of bad actors, including Chinese Communist officials, international shell companies and the financier George Soros, had quietly conspired to hack into U.S. voting machines in a “globalist/socialist” plot to steal the election.’
Waldron sent a text to Meadows right before Christmas 2020 reporting that one of the 61 lawsuits filed on behalf of the former president had been dismissed by an Arizona judge. Trump’s lawsuit insisted that the state’s election people pack up the state’s voting machines and any other related equipment.
Waldron relayed to the former chief-of-staff that their foes could begin “delay tactics.” He suggested that Georgia would be his next target.
Meadows. texted back:
‘Pathetic.’
State and Federal prosecutors would be especially interested in this line of communication. It seemed that after the first attempt to access the voting machines via the courts failed, Trump supporters went underground. And Meadows was right in the midst of this action.
The retired Army Colonel Waldron was “the architect of several extreme proposals” pointing toward the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Pentagon. Waldron even sent Meadows “a PowerPoint presentation” entitled “Options for 6 Jan.”
The Trump administration gave the conspiracy believer the responsibility of leading “operational planning” and working with former Trump personal attorney Rudy Giuliani:
‘Waldron was responsible for planning and overseeing execution of efforts to access voting systems.’
CNN also reported that the colonel was part of the group that drafted:
‘Waldron helped draft] language for an executive order directing the Pentagon and Department of Homeland Security to seize voting machines on behalf of the White House.’
The Department of Justice (DOJ) recently sent out 40 subpoenas all at once, so it looks as if Attorney General (AG) Merrick Garland was investigating this line of thinking.
Georgia state investigators have insisted the former chief of staff testify before its grand jury on the matter. The state’s attorney general even subpoenaed Meadows’ phone records.
Along with the fleeting National Security Advisor (NSA) Michael Flynn, retired Colonel Waldron had been in the Army psychological operations in the Defense Intelligence Agency. And Waldron had been “Chasing election machines for years.”
The retired military man was also behind the Cyber Ninjas who investigated the Arizona election results. Of course, the company out of Florida had never done anything like that prior to getting the assignment.
The colonel also texted the former chief of staff right after Christmas 2020. Waldron implied that one of his associates had evaluated the election data from a handful of Arizona counties and uncovered two incidents of “Southern steal.”
Meadows texted back one word, “OK.”
