With the midterm elections Tuesday, Democrats have pulled out all of the big guns. President Barack Obama has been working the swing states along with Vice President Kamala Harris, President Bill Clinton, and others. But Hillary Clinton has a niche market, which she speaks to via Twitter. The former first lady and secretary of state urged the people of Georgia to choose Stacey Abrams for their governor in the midterm elections.
If elected, Abrams would be the state’s first black woman to be elected as governor. But this is a repeat election for Abrams.
The last time Abrams’ opponent was then secretary of state Brian Kemp, who managed the election. This time there will not be that complication to contend with. As Clinton says to Georgia voters, this is a health care access issue for all Georgians. She said “you have a chance to protect women today:”
‘Georgia, you have a chance to protect women today. You have a chance to expand health care access for all Georgians.
You have the chance to elect @staceyabrams your governor.
Please go vote today, and bring a friend with you!’
