It’s not a surprise to anyone who isn’t brainwashed or just hasn’t been paying attention during Trump’s campaigns and years in the White House that the Constitution means little to him. His latest statements on his social media platform made that all the more obvious. He continued to push the Big Lie and then insisted that “A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.”
Donald Trump believes we should terminate “all rules, regulations and articles, even those found in the Constitution” to overturn the 2020 election. That was his view on 1/6 and remains his view today. No honest person can now deny that Trump is an enemy of the Constitution.

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) called Trump out on Twitter for his statements, linking it to his incitement of an insurrection on January 6, 2021. Although Republicans are still in thrall to the twice-impeached ex-president who lost the popular vote twice and tried to stage a coup, refusing to call out the most dangerous president in history, it’s all too obvious that Trump will do and say anything to stay in power.
Cheney and the rest of the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th attack will be releasing their report as well as transcripts of the interviews they have conducted with a number of Trump officials who were witness to the actions Trump took to subvert an election and attempt to reinstall himself into power. What’s most frightening is that Trump has already announced his bid for 2024, and it should come as no surprise that most elected Republicans in the House and Senate, still in thrall to the wanna-be dictator, will support him as long as it wins them reelection.
