Terrified Trump Screams At DOJ Online During Monday Freak-Out

Today Trump compared himself to a romanticized version of the mob boss, Al Capone during his morning freak-out. Granted the 45th president has never been one for American history and he has never had to pay the price for his ultra-questionable actions. But this time it looks as if the ex-president has been slipping over the edge.
As we recall, Al Capone was famous during Prohibition as the gangster who slipped through the prosecutors’ fingers time and time again with his men hanging off of the running boards of flashy 1920s cars, firing Tommy guns.
Instead of priding himself as one of the 46 men who have led this great country, the Donald compared himself to the infamous gangster.
The ex-president attacked the government prosecutors who have had him under serious investigation, according to The Intercept.

But all the former leader of the free world’s words were dusty repeats on Truth Social, his alternative to Twitter. He whined about the Department of Justice (DOJ) becoming “weaponized.” The previous president carped over the investigations. He wrote on Truth Social about prosecutors and others his “enemies” of the “Deep State:”

‘Because of the Weaponization, Targeting, and Unprecedented Harassment, I believe that I have more lawyers working for me on this Corrupt Law Enforcement induced Bull…. than any human being in the history of our Country, including even the late great gangster, Alphonse Capone! This is all being done for POLITICAL REASONS in that I am leading everybody, Republicans & Democrats, by big numbers in the Polls. The Disinformation Specialists are at it again, full-time. The Fake News is their TOOL!’

Still, the former president may have forgotten this important historical fact. Although Capone’s big crimes may have slipped under the net, the gangster was arrested for a crime the previous resident of the White House knows well. Capone was arrested for tax evasion.

Trump has been facing down the Department of Justice’s Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation. Smith left the Hague where he was prosecuting gangsters to come to lead the DOJ investigation.

Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen had this to say about a boss who jailed him. Cohen said that the end of Trump will be like that of Al Capone, according to The Insider:

‘You’re not going to get them on murder, extortion, or racketeering. You’re gonna get them on tax evasion.’

Cohen’s words were prescient:

“And much of this, especially the easier, the low-hanging fruit, so to speak  (involving his business)— that was available a long time ago.’

Then, there was the investigation by the talented New York Attorney General Letitia James. And very soon another investigation by a very skillful and very determined Fulton County, Georgia Attorney General Fani Willis will conclude.

Months ago Willis brought in a very special prosecutor who is known for his attacks on gangsters.
