In new polling from USA Today and Suffolk University, Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris is leading Republican pick Donald Trump in the highly targeted electoral battleground state of Pennsylvania.

The polling, which surveyed likely voters, found Harris with 49 percent of the support and Trump at 46 percent. USA Today noted that Harris’ lead was within the poll’s margin of error. The survey, meanwhile, was conducted entirely after last week’s televised debate hosted by ABC News that pitted Trump against Harris — and was held in Pennsylvania itself, which both major party candidates have been visiting, repeatedly, as Election Day gets continually closer.

After last week’s debate, Harris went out to a local spot in Philadelphia to campaign.

“This is very much two different visions for our country,” she told onlookers.

“Ours, which is a vision for the future, and his, which is about the past and taking us backward. And as I said on the debate stage, we are not going back. We are not going back. And so, we know what we’re fighting for. We know what we stand for. And that’s why we know what we’re fighting for. We’re fighting for the dignity of all people. We’re fighting for the dignity of work. We are fighting for middle-class families. We are fighting to uplift people.”

Pennsylvania Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro is prominently supporting Harris in this election, including with campaign trail appearances in his state. This past weekend, he also participated in the Sunday morning TV circuit to stump for the Democratic cause and blast recent moves from Trump’s corner.
