Donald Trump is tweeting from Air Force One while on an overseas trips to Paris, and his desperation is growing less thinly veiled by the moment. He wanted that projection that the GOP would end up with at least three, but possibly even four, Senate seats gained after the midterms to be true.

At this point, it isn’t clear that the GOP will have more than one seat gained after the 2018 midterms, which Democrats took control of the House, won seven gubernatorial seats, and several other down ballot races.Screenshot-at-Nov-09-12-52-46 Trump Starts Tweeting Aboard Air Force One & Suffers High Altitude Mental Collapse Donald Trump Election 2018 Featured Politics Social Media Top Stories Screenshot-at-Nov-09-12-52-30 Trump Starts Tweeting Aboard Air Force One & Suffers High Altitude Mental Collapse Donald Trump Election 2018 Featured Politics Social Media Top Stories

There are a multitude of false statements in those tweets. Senator Bill Nelson has never conceded. Florida’s electoral college votes were counted for Donald Trump on the night of the 2016 presidential election despite issues in Broward County. No one went out and “found” votes for Democrats in Broward County, absentee ballots are simply continuing to be counted and affecting the outcome, which is part of the democratic process.

Imagine the following scenario: Trump runs for president in 2016. Let’s pretend that Hillary Clinton held some kind of federal position that put her in charge of the election in which she was also a candidate. Tens of thousands of voters were purged from the rolls and denied the right to vote, and it turns out that 70 percent of them were white Republican voters. After Clinton won the election, boxes of mysterious ballots were found left behind in polling places.

Trump’s Twitter feed, as well as his head and the heads of Fox News pundits like Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson, would have exploded. Yet, these are all examples of what happened in Georgia and Florida during the 2018 midterm elections.

What is happening as the midterm votes continue to be counted is simply democracy in action. Trump is only upset because the votes are not swinging his way.

Twitter had a lot to say in response to Trump’s outbursts. Read some of their comments below:
