When rapper-turned-pop-star-turned-country-music-singer Bob Ritchie (aka Kid Rock) decided to attack singer Taylor Swift over an interview in which she discussed her political views, he adopted the same strategies his friend Donald Trump does, using sexism and schoolyard insults in a tweet.
The attack was over an interview that Swift did with Vogue magazine in which she discussed her political beliefs and her reasoning for having stayed silent in 2016. Ritchie apparently took offense.
Ritchie conveniently left out the part where he’s starred in a Hollywood film himself and that he’s dated his own share of celebrities, including Pamela Anderson, Jaime Presley, and American Idol’s Kellie Pickler. He’s also shared his own political views quite often, golfing with Trump, going on transphobic rants during his live shows, and flying a Confederate flag onstage. But of course, women’s political views aren’t valid and men are supposed to have lots of women in their past. Women, not so much.
It was a groan-worthy misogynistic attack from a hypocritical Trump supporter. What else is new?
I have had a ton of emails and texts asking me if this website is real… https://t.co/RRVgISDFeq The answer is an absolute YES. pic.twitter.com/uYCUg6mjW1

Ritchie was called out in the Twitter comments for his misogyny as well as his fake country-boy persona. Although he promotes himself as a Detroit-raised rapper who was once “straight out the trailer,” Ritchie grew up in an upper-middle-class home in Romeo, Michigan.
‘Kid Rock was born Robert James Ritchie on January 17, 1971, in Romeo, Michigan, a small rural town north of the Detroit metro area. His father was a car dealer who owned a six-acre orchard where the young Ritchie would work along with his three siblings.’
Twitter users pointed this out and much more. Read some of their comments below:
