Donald Trump’s Saturday morning routine has consistently been to either play golf or play on Twitter. His most extensive rants are almost always on Saturdays and this one was no different.

He continued with his normal theme: no evidence of Russian collusion by his 2016 presidential campaign should be believed because none of the people investigation it are credible and the accusations are just an excuse because the Democrats lost, which makes absolutely no sense. The investigation into some of his campaign members – Paul Manafort and Carter Page – began way before Trump ever announced his bid for the presidency. Unless Democrats had some magic crystal ball into which they could see the future, those investigations could not have been planned as an excuse for losing.

It further makes no sense since Trump has consistently bragged that no one believed he would win the election. That part is true, even former FBI Director James Comey has said that no one expected he would win. However, since that’s the case, it also destroys his narrative about Democrats using an investigation that began well before November 2016 is an excuse for losing.

Another consistent theme is that nothing Trump does wrong should matter since the economy is doing well. He refuses to admit that his predecessor left office with a booming economy that Trump inherited, and unemployment rates and wages may look quite different at the end of his term (if he makes it that far) than it does now. After all, that has repeatedly been the theme with Republican candidates who subscribe to a trickle-down economic policy.

Trump also clung to his rant about President Obama having a similar policy on the children of undocumented immigrants being exactly the same as his while escaping criticism. This claim has already been debunked since the children Obama sheltered in camps came unaccompanied and could not simply been turned out on the streets without money or food or protection from adults. Of course, it is also untrue that Obama escaped criticism for this. Protests and reporting by the media were almost equally as critical.

Twitter users seem exhausted by these already-debunked themes, but were ready with responses. See some of them below:
