No matter how much Donald Trump insists that claims about paying hush money to many women during the 2016 presidential campaigns are just “fake news,” the evidence that he is once again lying is piling up.
BREAKING: My Cohen-Trump tape notes @msnbc @Lawrence @maddow. As a guy who listened to a lot of audio fm wiretaps I can tell you 1) it was Recorded in Trumps Office 2) Audio device was on when he arrived in room. 3) Cohen took it out of his pocket to get clear recording.#SneakyAF

On Thursday, Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti revealed an all-new piece of information about those hush money deals. According to the Associated Press:
‘Michael Avenatti, the attorney for porn actress Stormy Daniels, said Thursday that he now represents three additional women who he says had relationships with President Donald Trump and were paid “hush money” before the 2016 presidential election.
‘Avenatti disclosed the information at a community forum in West Hollywood, California, but he would not provide additional information.’
Three additional women. All paid hush money through various means. Time for Michael Cohen and Donald Trump to come 100 percent clean with the American people. All the documents, all the tapes, NOW. No more lies or lip service. #Basta

Because Avenatti’s additional clients have not approved the discussion or release of details surrounding their affairs with Trump, he was unable to disclose any of that information. However, the revelation comes at a time when evidence that Trump lied about his knowledge of payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels and Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal have become irrefutable.

Lawyer for Michael Cohen, Lanny Davis, who released audio recordings of Trump discussing the payments he previously said he knew nothing about with Cohen, said he won’t comment on the new revelations.
‘Mr. Avenatti is an aggressive attorney doing his job in the middle of litigation. I have been there, done that. An attorney in litigation is just that, and until the litigation is over, I’m not going to comment on the words used.’

At this point, it’s impossible to know how many more explosive disclosures will come out, and it’s impossible to believe anything Trump says about any of them.
