In a demonstration where the attendance exceeded even that of the current president’s inauguration, students and supporters of common sense gun law reform descended on Washington, D.C. and in cities all across the United States and even all around the world to protest a culture of gun violence.
Today, we #MarchForOurLives. This day in history belongs to us. See you out there! https://t.co/NkJy6IyNKO pic.twitter.com/NSFh4GPov6

The Palm Beach Post updated throughout the day as Trump spent his time vacationing in Florida at his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. Along the route between Mar-a-Lago to the golf club where he would spend the remainder of his weekend, protesters supporting the fight to end the mass shootings that have ended so many young lives with so little response from lawmakers lined up to confront him.
Per pool, Trump has arrived at Trump International Golf Club in FL.
This is Trump’s 102nd day at a Trump golf club as president.

At 1:55 PM EST, Trump’s motorcade headed out on its route where protesters had assembled:
‘The president’s motorcade is now heading east on Southern Boulevard, toward hundreds of protesters linking the motorcade route for the March for Our Lives.’
Five minutes later, it became clear that he would not allow those assembled to have their opportunity to make their feelings known.
‘The president’s motorcade has taken a detour away from the March for Our Lives.’

Despite the statement released by the White House expressing support for the march, Trump refused to participate or speak, and in the end he wouldn’t even face those who had a message for him, nor did the deputy press secretary’s statement acknowledge those voices who say that Trump’s actions have not gone far enough for those attending the marches today.
‘We applaud the many courageous young Americans exercising their First Amendment rights today. Keeping our children safe is a top priority of the President’s, which is why he urged Congress to pass the Fix NICS and STOP School Violence Acts, and signed them into law. Additionally, on Friday, the Department of Justice issued the rule to ban bump stocks following through on the President’s commitment to ban devices that turn legal weapons into illegal machine guns.’
One thing the motorcade could not avoid, however, were billboards calling for Trump’s impeachment, placed strategically between his weekly vacation spots.
Trump and the GOP may not want to face these kids and answer their call for change, but their cowardice is not stopping the outcry.
The arrogance of @realDonaldTrump's press people on full display today. Pool is NEVER allowed in Trump International Golf Club, forced to hold in WP Beach public library (it used to be in an IHOP!) And the @PressSec will not tell formal pool His Majesty's schedule for today?!? pic.twitter.com/PbrHaVxVZU
