After 19 women came forward to report sexual harassment and assault by Donald Trump, he dismissed the claims and promised to sue every one of the women. As it turns out. one of those will be able to sue him, instead.

Summer Zervos, a former contestant on Trump’s reality TV show, Celebrity Apprentice, reported that Trump sexually harassed her during her appearance on the show. That claim should have come as a surprise to absolutely no one since he did it on camera in episodes that aired in front of the entire world.

Despite three attempts by Trump and his legal team to appeal a judge’s ruling that Zervos’s lawsuit against the president can move forward, and Trump is about to find that no amount of throwing money at the problem is going to make it go away. He cannot pay Zervos off like he tried to do with Stormy Daniels, nor can he have his “fixer,” Michael Cohen, threaten her into submission.

USA Today reports:

‘New York’s top court, the Court of Appeals, rejected an effort by Trump’s legal team to block discovery in the case while Trump is president. The decision allows information gathering to continue, and moves the case closer to a point where Trump could be deposed.’

Zervos’s attorney, Mariann Wang, told reporters in a statement that:

‘This is now the third time the courts have rejected [the] defendant’s effort to block the progress of this case. We look forward to continuing the discovery process and exposing the truth.’

Combined with an IG report that shows former FBI Director James Comey helped Trump and hurt Hillary Clinton, an announced investigation into the Trump Foundation, and the slapping down of his appeal on Summer Zervos’s court case, it seems Trump’s birthday is filled with exactly the gifts he deserves.
