Trump Rally-Goer Goes On Rant About Shooting Immigrants (VIDEO)

If there’s one thing Trump and his cronies are known for at this point, it’s their anti-immigrant rhetoric. President Donald Trump first made a name for himself through declaring years ago that Mexican immigrant populations harbor rapists and criminals — and he hasn’t let up.

Meanwhile, his supporters have hung onto harsh proposals for a solution to the problem their dear leader made up. One Trump fan speaking to a reporter with the popular left leaning news outlet The Young Turks proudly asserted that immigrants should be shot as a deterrent against the influx of people from other countries into the U.S.

The segment led with a clip of prominent Fox host Tucker Carlson, who complained that Hispanic segments of the population are growing at an alarming rate, asserting that the rise has coincided with a sharp uptick in societal volatility. In other words, he doesn’t know or isn’t willing to acknowledge anything about American history, since different segments of the United States literally launched an actual war against each other fought on American soil.

But hey, ignoring as much makes for good rhetoric, right? It’s like when Trump asserts that the Russia investigation is the worst challenge faced by a U.S. president ever, despite the fact that a number of them have been shot — among other things.

Those TYT reporter Emma Vigeland spoke to at a recent Trump rally were similarly lost in a racist fantasy of their own making.

One Trump supporter asserted, speaking in particular of a “caravan” of migrants making their way through Central America to the U.S. border at present:

‘I think if they were Republican voters, they’d be stopped. And I think 4,000 Latinos coming in less than a month before the midterm elections — it didn’t just happen. It wasn’t a grassroots overnight decision. It took some planning and somebody’s behind it.’

Just to be clear, though — although the president has claimed otherwise, there remains no evidence of any organized political force driving the caravan. People attempt to claim asylum in the United States all the time, and the violence driving them doesn’t wait for elections to be over.

The next featured Trump supporter delivered the real kicker — asserting that immigrants should be shot.

He told Vigeland:

‘What would solve the whole thing at the border is if they’d just start shooting. Only shoot a couple — and they would go home.’

Trump Supporter On Immigrants: Just Shoot ‘Em

A Trump supporter says "just shoot 'em" in response to Tucker Carlson's latest segment, in which he said that immigration is making America more volatile.

Suggesting he’s alone — or even nearly alone — in his violent thinking would be misguided at best. After Vigeland pointed out that many of those the man had suggested be shot were themselves fleeing violence in their home countries, he reiterated his position.

His suggestion for violence is the direct result of presidential rhetoric — there’s no way to divorce the two. Trump just recently thundered that he’d be sending the military to the nation’s southern border to stop the supposedly dangerous immigrants — so what else are his supporters supposed to think? He’s training them to take up arms against someone just because they’re from someplace else.

There’s no way around it.
