Kanye West Releases Tacky Pro-Trump Shirts Bashing Dems Like A GOP Robot

Kanye West has endured somewhat of a fall from grace throughout recent months — to put it lightly. He’s come out fully in support of President Donald Trump, despite the controversial leader’s moves undercutting minorities and the United States as a whole, really. Still, despite criticism, he’s sticking to his positions for now to the point of having reportedly designed t-shirts urging an exodus of black voters from the Democratic Party — or a “Blexit.” (Yes, that’s really the word employed.)

West, who’s perhaps most known for his rapping, also has dabbled in clothing design over the years. He’s put out rounds of “Yeezy” shoes — employing the nickname he’s crafted for himself, Ye or Yeezus — but these shirts represent a perhaps new level for that aspect of his activities. Previously he’s stuck to right wing gear designed by others, as exemplified through his repeated posting of photos of him sporting a red “Make America Great Again” hat. He’s even got one signed by the president himself.

The newest symbol of his love for Donald Trump appeared at the recent Young Black Leadership Summit, a conservative event that the president himself made an appearance in connection to, although West never showed up.

Still, his shirts were there, sporting the adaptation of “Brexit,” the term applied to British nationalists’ efforts to get their country to leave the European Union.

Candace Owens of Turning Point USA, the controversial (Trump-supported) organization behind the summit, shares:

‘Blexit is a renaissance and I am blessed to say that this logo, these colors, were created by my dear friend and fellow superhero Kanye West.’

The “superhero” reference is reminiscent of comments West himself offered during a recent meeting with the president himself in the Oval Office. He asserted that wearing red MAGA hats made him feel like Superman and that the masculine energy wrapped up in that feeling is what drove Trump to victory.

According to Owens, that West ideology is going on the road. She said there’s going to be a Blexit tour, with anti-Democrat rallies in major cities like Chicago and Philadelphia beginning next year.

In the meantime, there’s a new website to accompany the campaign — Blexit.com — which collects stories of black Americans who have left the Democratic Party.

For the record, despite all the talk that’s been shared about West’s high profile support of the president, a poll released in August — not that long ago — by ABC and The Washington Post pegged Trump’s approval rating among blacks at three percent.

That’s right. Three percent.

Still, that doesn’t seem like it’s going to stop Kanye. As mentioned, he recently met with the president in an interaction that devolved into lengthy ranting from West including the aforementioned comments about the “energy” surrounding Trump.

It called back to a high profile interaction between the two on Twitter. West asserted that he and Trump shared “dragon energy” and the president of the United States retweeted the comment, adding “Thank you Kanye, very cool!”

This is the level that we’ve sunk to thanks to Donald Trump.
