As the midterms are now well underway, candidates are making their final pitches to voters. Most of the real crazies, such as the white supremacists from five different states who ran as Republicans, were weeded out during the primaries.

Now, with just four days left before Election Day, it seems one of the crazies got through. One state House candidate in Spokane Valley, Washington, is under investigation by the FBI for a leaked manifesto calling for “biblical war.”
A local NBC affiliate from Washington reports that the document was leaked to the public, and it’s stunning.
‘It’s a radical Christian call to arms, outlining 14 steps for seizing power and what to do afterward in explicit detail. It calls for an end to abortions, an end to same-sex marriage, and if enemies do not yield and everyone obey biblical law, all males will be killed.’

Matt Shea is a right-wing candidate who ran as a down-home Christian candidate, but his Christian beliefs go far beyond the average into the insane. He regularly posts conspiracy theory videos on his Facebook telling his Christian voters that they are under attack from the “rabid anti-Christian” government and media.
Shea rails against Jewish and Muslim Americans, and tells his followers that the resistance is made up of Marxists and Islamists out to smear him. The manifesto he wrote that was leaked to the public lays out his plan for fighting back.
FBI officials and the Joint Terrorism Task Force were given the manifesto by Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich, who considered it threatening. The FBI is currently reviewing the documents.
