Today, during a 17-minute showdown in the Oval Office, in which Trump tried to impress upon his base that he’s not a big fat whiny baby, our so-called “president” sat down with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) to talk about Trump’s unrealistic demand for a wall along the Southern border, and his intention to shut down the government in order to get his way.
‘”I am proud to shut down the government for border security,” Trump said. “I will be the one to shut it down.”‘

‘The confrontation stands to help Pelosi (D-Calif.) settle a nagging internal dispute over her own leadership. While she has been nominated by her party to be the next speaker, Pelosi has not secured the votes she needs to reclaim the gavel in the Jan. 3 House vote.
‘Trump suggested Pelosi was hamstrung by that struggle in an early-morning tweet Tuesday, then again in Pelosi’s presence. “Nancy’s in a situation where it’s not easy for her to talk right now,” he told reporters crowded into the Oval Office.
‘“Mr. President,” Pelosi interrupted. “Please don’t characterize the strength that I bring to this meeting as the leader of the House Democrats, who just won a big victory.”’
Pelosi later said to House Democrats that this wall situation is a “manhood thing” to Trump, and we wholeheartedly agree!
It seems as though having very strong leaders like Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer go toe-to-toe with him really rattled Trump. If you watched the video above, you saw that he lost his cool (if he actually has any cool) multiple times. He was so incensed with the meeting that one reporter said he stormed out and threw a tantrum in the middle of the Oval Office anteroom. Los Angeles Times White House Correspondent, Eli Stokols, said:
‘He stormed out of the Oval, walked into an anteroom just off the Oval Office and had in his hand a folder of briefing papers. And he just scattered them out of frustration — threw them across the room!’

“His old New York sparring buddy, he felt, got the better of him,” Stokols said.
And remember, as we said above, Trump wanted this meeting in front of the press to make himself look good. He obviously failed — BIGLY!!
