Michelle Obama still stands heads and shoulders above other so many women, even First Lady Melania Trump. The former first lady has come out to assist women and young people in a way that has people moving forward. This is her latest.

Mrs. Obama tweeted about the dramatic transition young people make when they leave home, many for the first time, and head to college. She tweeted an announcement of her “adjusting to life on campus” videos:

‘Adjusting to life on campus can be overwhelming—that’s why I’m thrilled to team up with @nowthisnews and @youtube on a playlist of videos that can help everybody’s transition, no matter what school you’re going to. Obama’s speechwriter, Sarah Hurwitz knows her well. She answered the first question about the former first lady’s famous line during her speech at the 2016 Democratic National Convention. “When they go low, we go high” without even being asked:

‘I did not write that line — she came up with it. My contribution was typing it.’ I feel very guilty when people give me credit for it, her line. You know, she lives by that. At this time, which is just such a difficult time, to see someone whose life is an embodiment of “When they go low, we go high,” it is so uplifting. It is such a joy, and I think people are so drawn to that.’

What was it like to be her speechwriter? Hurwitz said:

‘The job of being her speechwriter is really to ask her, “What do you want to say?” And then to type as quickly as possible what she says.’

Obama called Hurwitz, “a brilliant writer with a big heart and a kind soul” in a tweet celebrating the September 3 release of Here All Along. The former speechwriter said:

‘That’s why I didn’t even think about writing about my experience in the White House. The truth of a speechwriter’s life is that it’s spent alone in front of a screen. Doesn’t make for the most glamorous or exciting memoir.’

As always, Mrs. Obama reached beyond herself to recognize the best in others:

Sarah Hurwitz is a brilliant writer with a big heart and a kind soul—and I’m sure @HereAllAlong will reflect her thoughtfulness and eloquence, which I depended on for so many years. I’m so proud of you, Sarah, for sharing your journey and your voice with the world!’
