The U.S. is far from out of the woods when it comes to the Coronavirus crisis. Just this week, in the wake of many states beginning to ease social distancing demands that were meant to stem the spread of the virus, the University of Washington’s high-profile forecast for total Coronavirus deaths in the U.S. shot up to a staggering over 134,000. No matter lingering issues, the Trump administration is allegedly plotting to wind down the White House’s Coronavirus response task force by Memorial Day, which is at the end of May. Hillary Clinton publicly condemned the Trump team for their recklnessness.
On Twitter, she commented:
‘It appears the plan is, shamefully, to have no plan. Americans will suffer. We must replace this administration in November.’

Indeed — even amidst the reported plans to wind down the task force in coming weeks, there’s chaos. Dr. Anthony Fauci, a key task force member, appears to have been kept out of the loop of plans to abandon this particular formalized interagency cooperation.
In an off-camera briefing @VP tells reporters “conversations are being had about winding down coronavirus task force”…….but top medical expert Dr. Anthony Fauci does not appear to have been part of these discussions. #COVID19 https://t.co/hoFjkJ9edX

Americans have definitely already suffered in the wake of the Trump administration’s ineptitude. Throughout the early weeks and months of the year, when Trump could have been working to stem the looming tide of Coronavirus cases and deaths, the president instead occupied himself with endeavors like golfing and calling Coronavirus concern a “hoax.” He could have instituted early social distancing demands and moved quickly to secure adequate supplies of personal protective equipment for medical personnel working with Coronavirus patients. He did neither of these things, although both developments would have been crucial to cutting off the spread of the virus.
Clinton has already joined in on the campaign to oust Trump in November. Recently, she formally endorsed presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

I agree, however we are dying now! This Administration doesn't seem to care if we live or die! I've lived 59 years all in the United States. I've never felt so unsafe with an Administration before! I don't think I'm alone! https://t.co/aD0co4MfI8

Actually I think their plan is to pretend like nothing is wrong. So sad. We could have really used someone like you in the White House. https://t.co/4I5XfI68Ma

This "administration should never have been". Wondering every day what new calamity trump has up his sleeve. Voting him out of office will be a great pleasure. May our votes count this time, had they in 2016, we would not be suffering so. You would have been prepared and ready https://t.co/mqZywlGIWd

We wouldn't have spent the last seven weeks in our homes, probably to no avail, if the legitimate president was in the Oval Office. https://t.co/RktDbQoUAE
