Today as the 100,000th American died, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (d-CA) stood up for the people. The California representative is the most powerful woman in the country as she sits second in line to the presidency. If Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence caught coronavirus from not wearing their masks, as they do, then Pelosi would be the first woman president in our country’s history.
She tweeted that “exercising their right to vote” and “protecting their health” give people a false choice. “No American should have to choose.” There are a number of states that have exclusively mail-in voting. Nearly half of all states have some form of voting from home. Military personnel overseas vote by mail. Even Trump mailed in his Florida vote in the last election.
He has been trying to set up a belief system that mail-in votes lead to mass corruption and election fraud. POTUS hired the former Secretary of State of Kansas and current candidate for senator to investigate voter fraud. Kris Kobach made a name for himself by advising other states’ to make voting more difficult and to seek out the fraud. Then, months later, Kobach slinked out of the back door of the White House. There was no fraud. None.
