Venue Cancels Traitor Rally For Marjorie Greene & Matt Gaetz Again

For the second time, an event venue in California has cancelled its plans to host a rally featuring Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) as speakers. The event had been set for this Saturday, and originally, it was going to take place at the Pacific Hills Banquet & Event Center. After that venue ended their part in the event, it was set for the Riverside Convention Center — but now, they too have dropped Gaetz and Greene, who started their ongoing “America First” rally tour with an event in Florida earlier this year. Both Gaetz and Greene remain closely aligned with Trump and have supported his lies about the integrity of last year’s election.

Apparently, the city of Riverside actually owns the convention center building, but the Raincross Hospitality Corp. runs it. Upon news of the cancellation, Riverside Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson commented as follows:

‘I recognize this was a divisive issue in our community, and I am glad it has been resolved. I commend Raincross Hospitality Corp. for this decision.’

Riverside’s Mayor Pro Tem Gaby Plascencia added as follows:

‘Riverside is a diverse and inclusive community, so it is heartening to hear that this event will not move forward. I am disappointed we even got to this point, because these speakers are the antithesis of everything Riverside stands for.’

Biden won Riverside County in last year’s presidential election by some eight percentage points, which, compared to California as a whole — which he nabbed by a little over 29 percentage points — is closer than some might expect. The event featuring Gaetz and Greene was previously set for Orange County, which Biden won in last year’s presidential election by some nine percent.

Going forward, Greene has claimed that the rally she’s been planning for the state with Gaetz will be happening on Saturday, but it’s unclear where exactly that event might actually take place, since it’s now been booted from not just one but two venues. Greene claimed that “violent threats” from “BLM/Antifa” were behind the cancellations — but in fact, everyday Americans simply don’t want to host the vitriolic nonsense that she and Gaetz regularly push. There’s no secret, violent conspiracy behind it — it’s not complicated. UPDATE: Apparently, the rally will be taking place at the Anaheim Event Center… for now. UPDATE 2: The Anaheim Event Center has now cancelled its plans to host the rally, just hours before it was set to take place on Saturday.
